Mnemosyne -ムネモシュネの娘たち- [Mnemosyne -Mnemosyne no Musumetachi-] (Mnemosyne -Duaghters of Mnemosyne-)
First off, Mnemosyne (pronounced nee-mos-uh-nee) might seem familiar to you if you know the word Mnemonic. Their root is in regards to memory. Mnemosyne is the personification of memory; she was a titan that birthed the nine muses from Zeus. You can read up on it on wiki.
This isn't so much a TV show as it is a series of OVAs. Three (of most likely six) are currently available, and I believe the 4th broadcasts May 4th. There is some nudity throughout the series and 'grotesque sexual visuals'.
Ep1:
It starts off fairly dramatic with the death of the main character. You later learn she isn't your typical human.
She works as a detective for hire. While tracking a lost cat she finds herself involved in a new case involving a man who has a sort of amnesia; he describes it as not feeling emotion or feeling as if he is living someone eles's life.
Our heroine kills without discretion.
And even tries some of that Catherine Zeta-Jones sneakies stuff.
Ep2:
The detectives are on a case in search of an Angel.
This episode expands on what exactly makes our heroine not the typical human.
Ep3:
This episode involves the investigation of an illness that gets its name from a flower.
My Japanese isn't the best; however, I do believe the 4th episode airs May 4th. I'll keep a look out for it, especially since I wanna know what's up with the Yggdrasil (pronounced ig-druh-sil). Btw, Mnemosyne is Greek & Yggdrasil is Norse.
